Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

VoiceMemo ("the app", "we") is built to keep your voice notes private. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. The guiding principle: your recordings stay on your device by default, and we never ask you to create an account.

What we collect

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, or location. There is no account and no login.

Your recordings & transcripts

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it receives an anonymous, app-generated identifier and your purchase/entitlement state. We never receive your payment details — those stay with Apple.

Analytics & advertising

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites. Shared summary cards created by free users include a small download QR code for VoiceMemo; this is part of the image you choose to share and contains no personal data.

Third parties

Data retention & your control

Your notes and audio live on your device. You can delete any note (and its audio) at any time inside the app, or delete everything by removing the app. Our backend processes requests transiently and does not retain your content.

Children

VoiceMemo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
